Can your Crèche, Montessori or Junior School join the Bunny Hop this Easter and raise funds for The Down Syndrome Centre?
The Dublin Circus Project and junior Bunny Hop ambassadors, Lydia, Elliot and Alesha are asking children to bunny up and get involved in a simple walk, skip or hop around their local area, in their local park or simply around their Pre-School or School yard to support children with Down syndrome.
There’s also a chance to win a circus workshop with the Dublin Circus Project for your entire class through a bunny ear decorating competition!
The Bunny Hop is a brand new fundraising event for The Down Syndrome Centre and the funds raised will go directly to their SKIP programme (Special Kids Intervention Programme) which prepares young children with Down syndrome for mainstream school.
Simply log onto www.downsyndromecentre.ie/bunny-hop to register for your Bunny Hop pack and download tonnes of Easter-themed activities and games!
About The Down Syndrome Centre
The Down Syndrome Centre opened in 2014 with the aim of addressing the increased cuts and lack of accessibility to relevant services for children with Down syndrome. Their mission is to provide services and facilities to enable children with Down syndrome to have the same opportunities in life as their peers, to feel included in society and to enable them to reach their full potential. They provide a wide range of early intervention services including SKIP and Team 21 Tots and vital services such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
They also provide essential services, information, support and a place to network for families and carers of people with Down syndrome.
100% of their funding comes through Fundraising.
