Who we are?
Donegal County Childcare Committee Ltd was established in 2000 as one of the 33 County/City Childcare Committees set up throughout the Country. DCCC has a countywide remit to provide a coordinated and strategic approach to the development of high quality childcare in County Donegal. The DCCC is a limited company and part of the Donegal County Development Board structure. The DCCC is funded primarily by the Office of the Minister for Children under the National Childcare Investment Programme 2006-2010.

- Organisations with a remit for, and interest in, childcare

- Tá meas ag CCCD ar ‘dearcadh iomlán an pháiste’, le cois deiseanna a bheith ag páistí foghlaim agus forbairt, chomh maith le bheith sláintiúil agus iad fein a chosaint. Measann siad gur chóir dóibh bheith in ann aitheantas aonarach agus féinmheas a chrúthú agus a gcuid dearcthaí a chur in iúl agus ‘glór’ a bheith acu.
- Tá meas ag CCCD ar luath-óige agus é mar chéim leithleach chun dearcthaí dearfach d’fhoghlaim fadthéarmach a chothú agus chun sult agus buanna tríd soláthar a bhaineann le taithí súgartha sultmhar, chomh maith le dúshlánach agus saibhir a bhaint amach.
- Ceadaíonn CCCD treoirlínte cleachtaí náisiúnta do chaighdeán cúram luath-óige agus oideachais, le cois Síolta: An Frámaíocht Náisiúnta Caighdeáin do oideachas luath-óige, Aistear: An Frámaíocht do luath-oideachas agus rialacháin chúram páistí (Seirbhísí Réamhscoile)
- Tugann CCCD ardú céime do sheirbhísí cáilíochta do pháistí agus do theaghlaigh agus creideann siad gur soláthar bunúsach atá i gceist le traenáil agus forbairt phroifisiúnta leanúnach maidir le cáilíocht cúram luath-óige agus cleachtadh oideachais agus soláthar.
