Workforce Development Plan
The Office of the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs (OMCYA) has developed a Workforce Development Plan for the early childhood care and education sector. The purpose of the plan is to ensure that childcare practitioners have access to education and training programmes that allow them to meet the qualification requirements for their work. This is because training has been identified as essential to the provision of a high quality early learning experience for young children.
