Assist the Afterschool Leader with planning and organising activities for kids 4-12yrsHelp with the administration, homework supervision, school collection and preparation of light meals. Assist in all cleaning duties, taking part in activities/events and outside supervision including trips away from the centre, be creative and like working with Children, be punctual, pleasant manner and patient. Adhere to all policies and procedures (Health & Safety, Covid, Afterschool, DFRC)Work as part of a team in the DFRC and on own initiative
Willing to attend relevant training e.g. Child Protection Training, First Aid etc. This position is subject to Garda Vetting. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary.
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
