Job Description

Newtowncunningham Community Playgroup Ltd is looking for an experienced Childcare Service Manager to lead a dedicated team of Early Childhood Professionals at the well-established pre-school service.

This temporary position comes with a competitive salary adequate with qualifications and experience.

Rates and hours to be confirmed with successful candidate.

Immediate start subject to garda vetting clearance

° Minimal 6 months position

° Starting in January 2021

This diverse role of Childcare Service Manager is ideal for an energetic, motivated professional with a keen interest in providing quality early childhood services for children and families.

All candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting and 2 written references.

The successful candidate will work alongside the current manager for a smooth transition.

Qualifications Required

Minimum QQI  (FETAC) Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in a childcare/management qualification.

Candidates who hold a Level 7/8 qualification are preferred.

 

Experience Required

The successful candidate must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a Manager role or at least 3 years’ experience in a Deputy/senior role.

Further Information

All candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting and 2 written references.

The successful candidate will work alongside the current manager for a smooth transition.
